Dylan von Dusseldorf

Dylan von Dusseldorf is a very handsome and large 4 year old German Shepherd. He is a gentle soul, he is well mannered, great with people and has an ease with other dogs. He walks well on the leash and has a smile that can light up any room. Dylan was hit by a truck and his leg was fractured, he was left at the West L.A. Shelter. He had obviously been someone’s dog but no one came for him. Through the largesse of two organizations the Hogan Foundation and Hope for Paws, Dylan’s surgery was paid for Dr. Old’s who is a legend did the surgery. Dylan needed plates and pins, but he is already starting to put some weight on his foot. Dylan loves to show off for the camera, but he didn’t want to show his “bad” side, we had to move him by a fence and tie him up to take a picture of his surgery site.
Dylan is now recuperating nicely in a foster home, getting along beautifully with his male and female German Shepherd foster siblings. He is gentle, affectionate, charming, surprisingly agile, and housetrained, and would prefer an owner who is home more.
Dylan is an amazing dog, thank you so much Hogan and Eldad from Hope for Paws
